About Us

At Sugar Spaces, we believe where you stay should be just as memorable as where you go. We’re travelers at heart and have always gravitated toward short-term rentals because they offer something hotels often can’t, a true sense of place. Some of our best trips came from stays that connected us to local neighborhoods, businesses, and experiences, and some of our worst came from poorly managed rentals with broken amenities and unclear communication. Experiencing both ends of the spectrum showed us just how much thoughtful hosting matters.

With backgrounds in architecture, design, and hospitality, we bring both creativity and operational care to every space we manage. One of us has experience in hotel housekeeping, the other in guest services, giving us a deep understanding of what makes a stay comfortable, seamless, and worth returning to. As a local business, we take pride in being hands-on, detail-oriented, and deeply connected to the community we serve.

Why We Started Sugar Spaces

We’ve talked about starting a short-term rental business for over three years, and 2026 is the year we’re turning that vision into reality. As Madison continues to grow and industrialize, we noticed fewer locally rooted places for visitors to stay and more challenges for property owners, including vacancies and unreliable tenants. We saw an opportunity to bridge that gap by creating well-designed, professionally managed spaces that showcase everything Madison has to offer.

Our goal is simple: give guests a stay they’re comfortable in, informed by, and genuinely wowed by — and give owners complete confidence that their property is in the right hands. Through clear communication, full transparency, and a luxury experience with local charm, Sugar Spaces is built to be professional, sweet to work with, and rooted in trust.
